Sports Fixtures:
Year 6 Cross Country- 4.10.24
Well done to our team of year 6 children who competed at William Edwards cross country competition on Friday 4th October. They showed excellent determination and fantastic sportsmanship throughout.
Year 5 and 6 Girls Football Match- 11.10.24
Well done to our girls football team who showed real sportsmanship and determination in their recent fixture against Stifford Clays. The girls tried their absolute best and showed some brilliant team work throughout the match.
The game ended in a 1-0 loss to Stifford Clays. We are so proud of the team and how they played. It was a very tight game with Deneholm almost scoring on several occasions.
The team played again on 17th October against Harris Mayflower Academy. The final result was 0-1 to Harris. The game was incredibly close and it came down to a shot right as the end to secure the win for Harris. The girls played fantastically again- well done!
Year 5 and 6 Tag Rugby- 17.10.24
Some of our year 5 and 6 pupils participated in a Tag Rugby competition at Orsett Heath Academy. The team were brilliant and finished 6th out of 19th. What a fantastic achievement. The organisers of the event commented on how the children behaved and supported other teams. They really showed how amazing they all are. Well done to all of the children that were involved.
